Want to upgrade Tires, what is the best 255 50 17
#41
Nitto has another tire in the 255/50/17 size called the Invo. It has a tread that looks like three different tires in one. According to Nitto, it has top ratings for dry and wet traction along with quiet and smooth.
I could find little info other than what was on their website but did find it is priced ok.
It also shows a 260 tread wear rating so maybe a little soft?

I can give some input on the Hankook K104. It used to be the spec-tire for the local championship series so I had them really cheap. They're great for the street, never hhear them squeal. They are especially good in the rain.
They are also very tough, I torture them at the local lapping club every week, so far I've spent more than 15 hours on the track and they are still grippy, even though they'd look more appropriate for a paddle boat than a car (the outer thread that is ...).
I must warn you though that they're not very well suited for drag racing; their lateral grip is fine though.

One of my favorite movies is Gumball Rally and I've always wanted to do a 427 in Guardsman blue, no stripes, no rollbar, black side pipes, etc. just like in the movie!
