Want to upgrade Tires, what is the best 255 50 17
#22
David,
For what it is worth. I just recently installed a set of Potenza RE750 255/50-17s all the way around. I have already had the opportunity to run them up to 150mph on the Autobahn and flog them in the Bavarian Alps. I must say, they are very quiet and stable during high speed runs and stick very well during hard cornering. You would not go wrong if you chose this tire.

Yes, 2 nights ago I got a great package deal on the fusion ZRi's!
They look great, Ford should have gone with 255,s right from the factory, I dont know what they were thinking!!!
So far, very quiet and stable. As far as the holeshot characteristics goes...more smoke and less noise than the stockers!

BTW, more smoke would mean less traction, but you also say less noise which would mean more traction.

Looks good David and I like your SHR quarter window scoops. By the looks of this picture you might have to recenter your rearend. Do you have an adj panhard bar on your car?

I thought the same thing and checked his sig looking for lowering springs which are usually the cause but I didn't see any. The axle center must have been off center from the factory, and the wheel spacers are amplifying the issue.
