tom... now I am thinking down the line on getting the Vortech non intercooled kit as well. I know someone who can get me kit for a good price. Now I will need to get some stuff on my own. I'll probably get the Kenne bell boost a pump, FRPP 39 lbs injectors.. Do I need a different MAF sensor or anything that I may have forgotten?? I'd appreciate the advice and congrats on the great ride!!

It depends on who/where you get the kit from. Some of the kits come with everything you need, including the MAF, injectors, etc. If you buy ONLY the blower and mounting plate, then yes you will need injectors, MAF, fuel system, and most importantly a GOOD TUNE. Find out what all comes with the kit you can get from your guy, then decide whatelse you may need.

JUST REMEMBER- GET A GOOD TUNE! CALL BRENT AT BRENSPEED FOR YOUR VORTECH TUNING NEEDS.

 

Thanks Tom... I'll have to inquire about what comes with the kit. As far a a good Tune. I get all mine from Doug so I'm sure he has a good tune for the Vortech. Hey if he could hook up project source horse I'm sure I'll be aiight. Thanks again for the info. 1st things 1st. I have to get my cams installed. I wondering how the vortech will respond w/stage 3 comp cams?

As far as cams with the blower- the tune will be tricky, but it will pull like a mother on the topend!

 

I know!! not to many folks here have the blower and cams so I'm sure once we can get it all working it will be AWESOME!!
