I just installed the Vogtland springs. I liked the look of the JBA car so I went with the Vogtlands. They are supposed to lower 1.6 in the front and back, I was hoping they would lower it a little more than the Eibach Pros but I can't really tell a difference, although the back seems to sit lower than other pictures of cars with the Pro kit.

Has anyone else installed these? The bottom two coils in the front and the bottom 2-3 in the back seem to touch all the time, is this normal?

 

Looks good to me . I'm thinking of getting some lowering springs myself, but I've never heard of these. Where did you purchase them and how much were they?

 

I bought them new on ebay for $184 plus shipping.

 

I have had these springs for about two months. They are great. Yes, the springs are suppose to touch as you describe.

Thanks for the info, how much did it drop yours? The place I bought them from says 1.6 but the Vogtland site says 35mm, which would be about 1.3.

 

how does it ride???

 

It rides a little firmer than stock, not much though, my wife couldn't even tell a difference. Handles a little better, with a lot less body roll.

 

Honestly, I didn't measure the "before". It rides great unless you really hit a hard bump, then some might call it harsh, but that is what sport springs are suppose to do. The springs were part of a chassis pkg I installed so I can't tell what did what but the final product is fanstastic.

Vogtland's website is correct. It is a 35mm drop not the 40mm drop the catalog shows.
