Any suggestions about where to buy this setup? Looks like the first mod for the new car has been authorized by the wife.

I got mine from RPMOutlet.com. The price was reasonable and they shipped to my military APO address.

Thanks for the info. I'll look them up.

I just left Osan a few days ago. I did my time at "the Kun" back in 97. If I had to do it all over again and had the choice I would have done my second tour at Kunsan.

Good luck and stay safe.

Try a dealer that sells FRPP stuff. You can usually get a better deal that way.

Is there any difference from the FRPP (Borla) exhaust and the "normal" Borlas?

About a $110 difference from www.rpmoutlet.com. I originally ordered the Borla's but changed my order to the FRPP's since it was $110 cheaper. I believe they are the same exact muffler.

i believe the only differences between the frpp and borla are the stamping on the tips and the price...

i checked rpmoutlet and called all the local dealers for mine... fortunately the dealer that is about 100 yards from where i work gave me the best deal... they beat the best price i could find on the internet for my strut tower brace as well... might wanna try that route...

The tips are different...
Slashcut (FRPP) as opposed to rolled tips (Borla)

I think you'll be editing that post...

They are the same. You're thinking about the Steeda Borlas that have the slash cut tips.

FRPP

My FRPP tips are rolled.

I guess you can say that they are slash cut as well.

Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is drone? Is it really so load in the interior of the car that I can't hold a conversation or listen to the radio? I realize that the tolerance to this will be different for everyone but I don't even know what "drone" sounds like. Can someone post audio from the interior of their car to demonstrate?

Drone is an unpleasant loud resonating sound. It has to do with natural harmonics in the exhaust (and other parts too perhaps).
