My friend posted my 13.08 video on his site:
http://homepage.mac.com/bvogelsinger

Download the last video, it's 2mb.

That was my first run of the afternoon and with my Mustang ever at the drag strip. I cut a 1.956 60' on that run. I have 2 other videos of me racing an SRT4 and 350Z that should be up tomorrow. Also, on that site there is a video of a me racing my friend's TT 350Z and Turbo I30. It's the video called 3Wide.

Worked for me. Nice run. For the cost of that TT kit I would expect better numbers out of the 350z. For minimal mods you kept up with the I30 pretty well.

How are you getting those numbers? Launch RPM? Tire pressure?

These cars are capable of numbers like this with a good 60', proper shifting, and cooler weather. It's noted by tuners that the 05-06 GT's run hot and the cooler weather helps a lot. In any car, cooler weather equals more power. It was 65 degrees at the track that day. I drove the car up to the track and didn't touch a thing. I can't honestly tell you what the tire pressure is or was. I have never had a gauge on the stems. On the 13.08 run I had full weight, 3/4 a tank of gas, and 2 peices of luggage in the trunk. I launched at 2800 rpms with a quick dump. The car wheel hopped for 20-30 feet and that netted me a 1.956 60' time.

Your 20" rims are probably slowing you down, especially if they are chrome. I also weigh 195 lbs myself, don't know how much some of you other guys weigh. I am sure some more good times will be posted now that the weather is cooler.

Wow, that's a good time especially with minimal mods.

his 1/4 times seem resonable my best to date with my 100% stock GT was a 13.301 @103, it seems like the more miles the car has the faster it is getting (8200 miles)
the only strange thing is the MPH
