If your stg 4's make a 27rwhp increase, then you will have exactly 400hp,but I am sure you will gain alittle more than that.

I'm not the least bit concerned with crank hp. I'm souly concerned with rwhp. I will hopefully find out very soon, what my N/A rwhp is. Here is a video of my car idling last night, just felt like putting it up as a comparison.

Since your concered about rwhp, I estimate your new hp to be 340-345rwhp which means about a 25-35rwhp gain.

I would say you're probably right about that. So if that's your goal for your car, I would recommend my mods. Actually I think you'd be even better off with the Racer intake.

I am 12 yrs old,so you can tell how smart I am about cars considering my age(I read these forums alot so I gain alot of knowledge about mustangs and I can make estimates of hp gains from various parts).
I have Motoblue pullies still sitting in the garage cause stupid RPMOutlet didn't send the long bolt that I needed and we(me and my parents) looked at how hard it would be to install them and the balancer pulley wont unbolt with the tool that we had to take it off. The stock balancer pulley has 3 slots, but the new one has a series of bolt holes going in a circle around the pulley, so thats why it wont unbolt. Maybe I can get the bolt at the dealer. Also I found installation instructions for the pulleys so I will most likely be installing them soon.
Also, I was thinking about getting headers in the future(I will have to buy MIL's to pass emissions right?),and I wanted to know, what would have a deeper sound with a catted h-pipe and Flowmasters, JBA or Hooker LT's?

2006GT500,

I would love to see a post of a cam how to install. I am thinking of the stage III cams and I read that you could install them without removing the front covers and am wondering how? Might make for a new thread if you could post your experience. I am sure that there are others who would love the tech.

The front cover does not have to come off and you can do it in the car. If I can talk to my buddy I might have him do the write up, as he could be way more detailed than I could, even though I helped with the install. I'll do anything I can to help though as, I'm all for the more bada$$ Stangs the better.

Does anyone know of a video for Comp's stage 2 cams? I looking for more info on the Comp cams stage 2 for the 3V. I am still gathering info on our cars and cam selections. It seems like most are going w/ stage 3 and then plan on adding a blower in the future, but I plan on staying N/A and perhaps adding an AL driveshaft/flywheel combo. I already have all of the normal bolt-ons so these are the next in-line to add performance (as well as brake upgrades and more suspension). Has ANYONE (or know of anyone) that has the stage 2 Comp cams? The Comp website states the stage 2 are a good selection for street set-up w/ excellent mid-range torque.

We did an install of comp 1's, I know you're asking about 2's, but the stage 1's didn't show a whole lot of a difference in my opinion. The car had 4.10's in it so that might be why I didn't feel them quite the way I feel my cams. I know that PSIPerformance is running stage 4's with a Turbo and told me I'd be good to go with my Stage 4's. If you are planning a nasty N/A car then I say go with the Stage 4's. I love them on my car N/A right now and I would recommend them to anyone. I don't think that our cars are going to respond as well to stage 2's as they do the stage 4's.

I am going with Brents Stg. 3 Comp Cams, retainers, and valve springs package if I do decide on getting cams.

I will have to discuss it with my parents before I decide on getting them.(They own the car, I find the mods ) Would I need to buy any parts to support the cams air flow needs besides a intake and tune?

The more airflow the better. With your C&L racer that'll help. Headers and free flowing exhaust helps. Gears will help a ton. You really don't "need" these things but they will help to maximize you cams. If you go stage 3's or 4's I highly suggest getting springs. They are a PITA to install, but it should be done. Let me know if I can help anymore.

Thanks superman112. I did not order them from Comp, and this may blow some of you guys away, I actually found mine on ebay awhile back. The opening bid was $299. No one bid on them other than me. I had contacted the seller prior to buying and it turned out to be rpmoutlet. Of all places to buy something like cams this is where I got mine. Luckily I had no issues with these guys and the cams came fine. They had been installed in a car and I think they made a few dyno runs with it and then took them out. They came to me in great shape so I wasn't concerned. It was a smoking deal and I couldn't pass it up. I would suggest stage 4 comps to anyone.

If I buy cams(it will be the stg. 3 package from Brent, which includes retainers and springs), I will buy the AR LT's and X-Pipe, put 4:10 Gears on, and I will have the pullies on before I get cams. I am not going to take my chances with RPMOUTLET again.Even if I can get cams for 300 bucks on ebay from them, its still worth paying 700 bucks more to Brent than wasting more of my time with RPMOUTLET's crap, cause they already blew it with the crap they did when I bought MOTOBLUE pullies from them.
