Too tell you the truth sounds stock with the exhaust changes. Mine was louder than that with the bassani set up with comp cats and xpipe, and axlebacks. I didnt really even hear a cam lope, as if it had a big cam change. I didnt really notice anything special about the sound. I thought I was going to see some nitrous in action or some good cam noise, but like I said not much different than stock with an o/r h etc.in that video, maybe you have to be in person. I would love to see it doing some nitrous, now that would be interesting. But cruising, not getting anything out of that one. Sounds nice tho.

Sounds good in both videos. I hear the cam lope, but it is subtle. It probably sounds much better in person.

Whose car is that? Is he a member here? I would like to talk with him. I can hear the cams in that video. Maybe it's because I know what the comp cams sounds like. I wish I had never seen that video though cause now I think I might need to change my o/r x to an H and change out my mufflers. I think that might be why you hear those more. I think they resonate more. Hmm....I hate when this site leads me to want to spend money.

Sorry for making you have the urge to spend more money on mods. I am planning on going the same route as that person in the video except I want hooker LT's & a catted h-pipe but not offroad.

I just searched for "Stage 3 Comp Cams" and there the video was. I do not know who the owner is or if he/she is on any mustang forums.

To make it even better I found a vid if a 650RWHP(764 crank hp )mustang w/ 800RWHP(941 crank hp) on nitrous that has Stg. 4 Comp Cams,a centrifugal supercharger or a turbo, and many other mods that I do not know of:YouTube - stage 4 comp cams.

Yup that's PSI performances turbo car. Very soon after that video he had some serious issues with the car. Make sure if you do get Cams from comp and springs, that you don't get the blower springs, they are too strong and will do more harm than good. If you're anywhere near Texas, my friend and I have already done two 3v cam swaps, garunteed cheaper than any shop, unless you know how to do it yourself.

2006GT500, is your car a stick or auto? I'm asking because your hp numbers are low for having cams.....

EDIT: I was just reading on MF that you never dynoed after installing the cams; the hp number in your signature is from before the install, correct?

Correct, hasn't been dyno'd since cams. It's quite a bit more that 313 for sure now. Car is a 5spd.

For anyone doing cams, I love my stage 4's and would do them again in a heartbeat. The performance of my car is so much different now. I'm working on getting on the dyno very soon and then the D1 is going on. If you're considering doing cams do stage 3's at least. We did an install on a Stage 1 comp cam and I couldn't even tell it was there. To be honest I couldn't even really tell a huge difference in the car after the stage 1's. Stage 4's big difference.
