No tune required. My CEL has never turned on.

Not sure of the reason of the price difference.

If you are in town sometime, let me know and I can meet with you so you can hear it in person.

Sounds great man. I have very similar mods. Only real difference is that I used the Bassani cats instead of going no cats at all. Here is the video where you can hear mine on the dyno at WOT. I wouldn't trade the Bassani for any other exhaust.

Nice. I might put the hi-flow cats in. Too much fumes. I don't mind so much, but it gets on my clothes and I smell it until I take them off.

From dyno numbers on my car I think that the high flow cats definatly were an improvement. With NY inspections I had to have some sort of cat or I would have failed. Here is a picture I took of the stock h pipe and cats next to the bassani x pipe and cats. You can really see the difference:

After reading this thread, I've seriously thought about getting the Bassani X-pipe. I've looked at RPM Outlet for this and they have the Bassani X-pipe with/without cats for $549 before discount, but they also have the Bassani BX Performance X-pipe with/without cats for $384. Can anyone explain the difference. They say the BX series is just as good, so why would I want to spend the extra money?

Here are the links for the two products I'm talking about.

The $549 set is stainless steel. I live in Pittsburgh with lots of rain and salt. So I spent the extra $$ to keep things good. I plan on keeping the car until it dies.
