I have been looking high and low for this shift handle ever since I saw one at the World Ford Challenge. Have you ever regretted not buying something after seeing it and can't find it again? I ordered one 6 months ago and after 3 months gave up when it was never in. I finally picked it up today and installed it on my Steeda Tri-ax shifter, hooked up my line locks and now that the racing season is over my wife and I can do burnouts without power-braking. This handle will not fit the stock shift arm but will fit any aftermarket lever. I had the same handle without the button for the past 6 months and neither one of us has missed a gear yet.

I did post that this will not fit factory shift levers, as for the Hurst shift lever the pistol grip will fit. The pistol grip comes with the thread adapters for the following shift levers: Steeda Tri-ax, Pro 5.0, and the Hurst.

I bought it through a local speed shop, they had to order it. There are only so many then when a request comes in Hurst makes a "run" of them, they do this due to a low sale volume.

Part #: 153 6200
Description: Pistol Grip Shift Handle with 12-volt switch
Fits: Mustang w/12mm x 1.75 threads and Camaro/Firebird w/16mm x 1.5 threads.
Cost: $75.00

I just spoke with 169Stang yesterday and he said there are some in Florida at a local transmission shop he is using. PM him if you can't find one.
