UPR Strut Tower and Nut Covers

I'm pretty sure I've seen a pic of somebody's engine compartment with these things installed. Anybody have them, and what do you think of them?

I really like mine. I'm glad I got them. Makes the underhood area look much cleaner without seeing the rusted threads from the struts! I vote you put them on.

I will get them. I like the way they look on ChrisM's car. The strut tower brace is similar to mine. I have the one from Strange. I was going to get the covers from Midwest Autogear, but from what other guys have seen, they are too thick.

ChrisM - those do look nice....I was waiting for the MAG covers - what's that about them being too thick? Do they rub the hood liner ...and I thought they wouldn't be out until after the 1st of the new year?

They don't fit if you have a strut brace installed. The sides need to be opened up to fit the brace. I have a pair of Vista Blues to sell if you need them....

Mongoose, the small nut covers come together with the two big covers as a kit. It is located on page 2 of the "Underhood Cap Covers". I had to search for them too.

About the big center caps fitting over other struts, there is a recess in the inside center of the caps that can be hogged out with a Dremel if you need more clearance. The caps are very thick, so you're not going to tear through them.

Just put mine on today.

The misc nuts under the hood can be covered with 10mm chrome nut covers from Auto Zone $6 for 6 nut covers. Be ready to spend about $24 to cover all the nuts under the hood. Looks good though

As far as the ST covers, Moss sells them $100+ and thats

Nope no covers for me. I made my own Struct bar and didn't think they would fit. Glad now I didn't get them with all the problems araising with them.

Yes I do think they were M10 threads. I that some pictures tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be sunny and 45 so I might install my new Pro 5.0 shifter too.
