i realized i did not replace this when i installed tokico d-specs.

i heard this is what is causing the clunking.

is this easy to install after the fact? does i have to remove all my struts?

You'll have to remove the front struts & springs to replace the strut mount.

- If you're getting the clunking that is.

The clunking can be caused by the strut mount rubber seperating - so check this is the case, or you may have a different problem.

 

I just purchased a new set and I have'nt installed them yet. Just looking at them and playing with them, it appears that there is little or no lubricant/grease on the bearings (very rought movement). Do they need to be greased before installation?

 

Generally they're non-serviceable. Of course there's no real reason why not to.

 

i just saw on steeda's website they have an enhanced version.
is this worth it?

heavy dute upper strut mounts. very pricey though at $299.

Necessary - no. But they will stop the clunking.
