I am looking for those that have installed the Bi-Xenon, dual beam HID kit from Stangmods. Are you happy with them? Would you do it again? I am seriously considering the 6000K kit. Help a brother out.

The Saleen HID kit isn't a bi-Xenon set - it uses a motorized reflector to simulate a "high" beam but doesn't really change the bulb intensity or light up another bulb.

Curious to see how the bi-Xenon setup looks and works, since turning on an HID light requires a brief "warmup" period before full intensity.

As Far as the FORD Hid Setups as Soon as Ford Releases them and The 08 Wiring Diagrams I will Certainly Investigate their Retrofitability.

Sounds good. HID's is the one mod I really want-but not enough to spend $900 for Saleens. That's just wrong.

I've only ever seen bi-xenons that move the reflector. I've never seen multiple bulbs or varying intensity...

got a quote from my dealer on the 08 HID's to be modded to my car....$750 each with out bulbs and ballasts. they did not have pricing on those yet, but guessed about $4000 to $4500 installed...YIKES.

Have had them installed for a couple months, work great. the instructions seem to be for some other car tho. just had to figure the three wires the tell which is high-lo beams, overall rating a 8 out of 10.

They might be the same design, but Saleen light are not made by Sylvania... Saleen uses OEM HEad light housing with 3rd party HID/reflector assy. Comprende?

well i know for a while they are going to be like the saleens were and will be around $1200 for a while then drop down to $800 or $700 within a year, this mod to me is more of a want then a need

Osram is the R0X0Rs!1111!!!!!1oneoneone!!1! Hopefully they had the Germans design the HIDs for the 08 Mustangs.

I'm contemplating buying a wiring upgrade kit, or waiting for the HID retrofit.

Indulge me. What is so great about HID lights? I just read on another post how great the current ones are for illuminating on hi-beams.

In other words, why would folks pay so much for these lights, if the currents lights work fine?

I'm not arguing, I'm just trying to understand why folks feel the need to spend this much money for replacement lights.

My stock low beams are inferior to the low beams on my Crown Vic, which I think is inferior to the UNECE-compliant H4s on my T-bird. The HIDs used on foreign cars like Lexus, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, etc... are designed for high speed driving at night in Europe so they don't over-run their headlamps. With US/DOT/FMVSS compliant head lights, we're dealing with junk that barely throws light out far enough at 65 mph (in total darkness) to give us the necessary reaction time/distance.

HIDs put out a sh*tload more light than halogen light assemblies. It's the sheer amount of candelas being put out, plus with a sharp cut-off that makes it superior to normal halogens

I am not a fan of the cost, but if I had a choice between the best halogen bulb setup (the top choice at TMS: SilverStar H13s) and UNECE compliant HID projector headlamps, it would take less than 1 second for me to choose the HIDs; the obvious better choice.
