I'm looking to call a few places and get a quote on my tuneing my car after I get the next round of mods on my car.

Can anyone suggest any places in LA that is good with the newer stangs?

I placed a call to RET and they were busy so I left a message.

 

I hear good things about Adam over at Spank Time. Hell people here in San Diego travel over two hrs to get their stangs tuned by him.

 

I did.

 

I havn't heard back from them yet but the valve spring compressor is on backorder till the 19th. The place i'm ordering it from says at least two more weeks longer than that from his experience.

****.. mid feb (for self install) unless there is one hella smokin deal on install at one of the two places.

 

Along with Don, Ed and host of others.

 

I've been wanting to know this info as well. Those are pretty close.

Greg at RET (Racers Edge Tuning) is good with late model mustangs! It's busy alot, but he'll get you in. He's in Downey CA, just south and east of "LA".

 

My valve spring tool is on backorder so I'll talk to him and get an idea of what i'm looking at for tuneing and then just play the wait game.

Sucks to not be able to do it till mid Feb.

At least Feb is still early in the cruising season.

I drove about an hour. Well worth it.

 

If and when I go F/I, I am taking my car to Adam for the install and tune.

 

that's sick Adam is 9 miles from me. I know where I'm going, and it seems the popular choice around here.

I've ultimately decided on installing EVERYTHING thats on order and then have someone look at the nitrous kit when I take it to the shop. I will most likely take it to RET as towing the car will cost me more than the difference in tuneing cost.

Anyone know if the delete plates will toss a code AND go into limp-mode or just throw a code?
