TPS autolearning Nitrous WOT switch question.

I installed the entire kit as indicated.

The car is off but in the start key position.

The switch lights up properly and I put it in learn mode.

I let it learn idle voltage, then goto full throttle twice

(while the car is off, according to directions)

The switch goes into a solid green light but the red light is on indicating full throttle.

Do I need to start the vehicle and actually goto full throttle twice for the proper voltage to read on the sensor.?

I know that with the Zex kit, you don't have to have the engine running. You turn the key to the run position, push the button on the brain, and got to WOT for 10 seconds. The light flashes, and you turn the key off & your done. That's how the Zex is- I don't know about your brand.

thanks tom..

It would appear that with the car off it didn't register any voltage, so i'm going to try it in some parking lot away from homes.. hahahaha where the noise wont wake the neighbors... and do it with the car running and see what happens.

I'm also going to call NX on tuesday.

I hope i have this thing hooked up properly.... haha

You tried it with the key in and turned to the run position, but you didnt start the car, right?

I'm starting to wonder.

I went back and checked my pm's and notes and someoen was to get back to me yellow or white... I rememberd wrong and went yellow without asking them again to checkfor me.

I'm going to try the white one with a multimeter and see what happens.
