Toyo proxy 4 tires

I can get a set mounted and balanced for around 850.00. 255/35 R 20 front and
295/30 R 20 rear
I can't seem to find to much info online about them. Is any one running these? How are they working for you? Any info would be helpfull. A link to some reviews if you know of one. Thank-you for the help.
Sorry if this thread is in the wrong place.

what mileage are they rated for? I will try the google thing. I did use msn search for reviews and found basically nothing. I am sure I could have missed it.
Discount tire rocks in my book but they don't have the toyo's listed on their site the tire rack doesn't have any thing either.
I am working a deal with the place that I bought the rims from. Tires rims lug nuts mounted balanced and delivered. I will give discount tire a call.
Thanks

Any performance tire you buy, I highly doubt it is going to come with a mileage rating, best you can probably do is compare the treadwear number, the higher the better for milage but it will be a harder compound.

Did you try contacting Stoenr. If I remember correctly he works in that industry. I think the 300 rating has something to do with treadwear. I know the BFG KDWS has a 400 rating if that helps. So that means ?40K wear???

From my knowledge treadwear does not equate mileage, I.E 300 treadwear equals 30,000 miles.
Glenn,
The treadwear on the proxes4 is 300 traction AA temp A.
If you have a price range you want to stay in, all your choices will probably have roughly the same mileage, it all depends on your driving style and you will not find any mileage guarantee, well at least I did not.

300-AA-A Tread Wear (good for about 20 to 25K from my experience)

Rated darn good Dry, Wet, Noise, Traction.

If you love them, seems your fronts will be about $180 ea. and your rears $240 ea.

My largest input is new tires always feel like they make the car look better and you'll be happy the first week no matter what. Just make sure they are something you can live with or can afford to burn off if you don't love them.

Tires are like College Girlfriends...they hit your pocket heavy when you can least afford them and they won't be around forever, but you'll look back and love all the times they got hot and slippery.

I wonder if I should spend a few bucks more and get some thing that will last longer. I don't do a lot of burn outs. I might take a corner at the speed limit once in a while lol.

The Toyo RA1 tires have a treadwear rating of 100. That's really soft. The stock P Zero Nero tires have a treadwear rating of 400. So, the Pirellis should last 4 times longer...

The Toyo RA1 tires are really competition tires, and not for everyday street use, though they are street legal. I would mount them when going to the track for HPDE events, and then take them back off again when home.
