Please can anyone answer a couple of questions,
1,what is the top speed of the standard GT?
2,what is the top speed of the Shelby GT500?
3,does the Shelby GT500 have a restricted top speed? here in the UK most high spec. cars are restricted to 155mph

 

1) 147 i believe though a couple upgrades and it can go well above it. I buried my needle only one time and that was after some mods were put on it. Probably won't do it again as it's just way to fast to risk a wreck or ticket.

2) I want to say 155 but not sure.

3) Oh yes it's limited but again a tune can open her up to higher speeds. 500hp Shelby has plenty of room to stretch.

 

I'm going to call BS on anyone that says anything above 145. The spedometer doesn't go that high and anything above that is purely speculation without a radar check or dyno.
