Tokico D-Spec Owners Chime in.
I'm debating if I should get the D-specs or just go with a non adj. set. So my questions to you are:
How many times have you actually messed with the settings?
Was there a noticable difference between settings?
What setting would you say would give you the smoothest ride?
What setting for twisties?
What setting for drag strip?
Would you buy them again?
Sorry for the interview. TIA

I have them and I'd buy them again. My car is just a weekend toy, but I've messed with the settings a few times just to see what effect it has. I run them at 3 turns out front and 3.5 out on the rear most of the time. For my application, non-adjustable shocks would have been fine... but I like adjustable stuff.

I'm using the same settings as Fordracing, excepted in the following case;
Drag, I did not drag race yet but most likely those would be the settings I would use.
When the temperature is above 70F I increase the damping, when it's colder I decrease it, oil viscosity affects damping.
Another thing why I choose the D spec is that the weight of my Twinscrew changes the way the front dampers/springs respond (more bouncy) by increasing the damping by 1 turn in the front compared to the back it compensates and make the front and rear balanced.
I have to say that my car is remarkably poise and comfortable when I want it to be that way and is pretty impressive in the autox...
But everybody has a different pain treshold...

Get them Leo, you will not be disappointed. I run them at 3 up front and 3.5 out back where I live now. Roads where crap where I used to live and ran them 5 up front and 5.5 out back. Huge difference in ride quality over the bad roads. When I go on a road trip I put them on 6 all the way around and when I go to the track I play around with them to try and get the best weight transfer and traction. When my wife was pregnant I'd set them to 7 when driving around and it wasn't bad for her. We tried it on my normal setting of 3 and she about ripped my head off. So yes, they are that adjustable and do make that much of a difference.
