I am going to Fontana this weekend (1/4 mile) and am wondering what I should run my tires at?
285/40/18's in the back and 255/45/18's in the front.
thanks!

Put the maximum allowable psi in the fronts, and I would probably start with 22 psi in the rears and make passes from there, expect your first pass to be a wheel spinner or a bog so don't adjust rear pressure until the 3rd or 4th pass, and I would say that you should find your best pressure with a true radial tire around 18-22 psi. Good luck.
