I'll say one more thing here. The vehicle manufacturer lists the psi recommendation on the door for the average load for several reasons including even tire wear, traction, stability, and heat. If you underinflate a tire it will wear on the outsides quicker and run too hot, overinflate it will wear on the insides quicker. When they come up with this rating, vehicle weight, suspension type and the car's intended use are what's considered. If you feel like raising or lowering the pressure a couple of pounds, then knock yourself out. A small change in pressure won't matter anyway.
