Tire fitment question

I want to run a 295/35/18 tire on a 18X10 wheel in the rear and want to know if any one has this combo or know if it will fit. Car will eventually be lowered so I have to keep this in mind.

Thanks!!!

I will continue to warn people after my bad experience with aftermarket wheels:

You can run up to 305's as long as you have a wheel with the proper offset. I had 18 x 10 wheels that had what I consider to be a bad offset- I could only run 255's in the back, and after lowering the car, they were going to rub the fender lip.... and these wheels were a dealer installed option! The wheels simply stuck out too far when bolted onto the car. They were Black FRPP FRC 500 look-alike wheels- a perfect replica, except for the improper offset.

There are too many wheels out there right now that are not designed with the proper offset- be careful! Go with major brand names, and try to avoid the off-brand Chinese copies, unless you have personally seen the wheels you want with the tires you want, on an '05 Stang.

Good point. I just assume(read, *** out of you and me)that people know what offset to get. Do your homework.

Wheels are WedSport TC005's, Tirerack shows a recommended size of 285/40/18 for the rear.

Try this calculator your setup will fit but the overall diameter will be a little over an inch shorter than stock.

Cool,Thanks!!! Some one else has these rims on their car so I know the wheel will fit, it's just the question of the tire. From what the calculator shows it may be safer just to run the 285/40/18 like Tire Rack recommends.
