Throttle Body?

I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has tried the GT500 throttle body from RPM Outlet on there N/A mustang? If so how was the install and was there any performance gains to be noted?

I've heard the gt500 tb can be swapped without having major problems but then again I still wouldn't bother. The stock tb is good well into 700rwhp applications, so for the possible problems that could possibly occur I would save your money for something else.

Has anybody thought of just porting the TB?
My experience with a TB is on a 2001 5.3L Silverado. I had a 80mm BBK TB (along with full boltons and giggle gas), and after spending $300 I found out that just porting the stock one provided the same gains. I bet polishing the surface and smoothing out the way it flows to the holes will provide all the flow you will need. About the same gain and only for the cost of a carbide bit, sandpaper and a little elbow grease. I am going to do this along with my LT install.
