Does your handheld device allow you to change any parameters? Mine doesn't. I've looked at the SCT web site and it appears you can upload firmware to the handheld to upgrade it, but looks like you need a file from your "tuner" also, which I don't have, and I know last year Lidio wasn't giving out. I thought the same went for the laptop software.
I haven't called AA yet, wanted to know what others had before I did.

I bought my XCal 2 from AA and it came with on-device adjustability enabled. I also performed the firmware upgrade offered by SCT and it had no effect on the existing tunes but did enable on-device datalogging.
I have the Diablo ptrdator with a C&L tune that I downloaded off the C&L web site a year ago.
I can modify quite a few paramaters such as timing, shift points, adjustments for gears and tires, edit/delet RPM and speed limiters, etc. It also has the ability to do data logging to a PC.

I have Lidio's tunes in my Sct Xcal II. I haven't tried adjusting anything, but was told by someone else on the forum (can't remember who) that Lidio locks the tuner so his tunes can't be adjusted. I'd call him and ask him personally. Call him before 10am m-f. That is the best time to get in touch with him. I'v had several long conversations with him, but we never discussed adjusting the parameters
