Teflon Grease for Bushings????

Planning on installing my Edelbrock Adj PHB this weekend. Sparce, but decent instructions (gonna reference Bill's sticky on doing Leo's install so I should be fine)

One thing I noticed though in the instructions was to lube the bushings with the supplied teflon grease (the only teflon grease supplied was the mention of it in the instructions )

So do I have to use teflon grease specifically, or would any quality grease do for the bushings? I have Mobil 1 Synthetic grease lying around...

I've used the red Mobil 1 synthetic grease on lots of stuff and it seems to be fine. But, if you want the right stuff, get the Energy Suspension Formula 5. It's very heavy viscosity and sticky.

I have a BMR adjustable PHB they sell silicone grease for the poly bushings,I use it on all the grease fittings that have poly bushings.[LCAs and sway bar ends] the price was pretty steep $20,00+$12.00 shipping but I loaded it in it's own grease gun and it should last for years.I have seen on the Forums that regular grease ruins the poly bushings.I wasn't going to take a chance on the Mobile grease I figure if the bushings screw up they can't blame the grease

I think the Edelbrock comes with the Energy Formula 5. Should be in the same packaging as in Bill's pic.

You would figure as much, I know it came with the Steeda LCAs I got, but nothing in the Edelbrock packaging.

I'm guessing since there were no responses I'll have to order this online??? Gonna check some of the local parts stores around me, there is one in particular that seems to have the things the rest don't carry, maybe I'll get lucky.

I have alot of respect for you Bill, I'm going nuts because I've had a PHB in the garage for a week and haven't installed it, if I was waiting for my engine build like you someone would need to talk me off the ledge!!!

Weird, I'm almost certain mine came with it. I had an extra packet lying around that I used yesterday and I can't think of anything else that it would have came with.

Al, I'm not as patient as you may think. A few of the guys here know how many beers I've had as a result of all the delays.
