Supercharging 2007, questions

I'm doing research for S/C options for MY 2007. Forgive me if this is already out, but I'm too lazy and stupid doing searches.

The engine cooling is different in 2007, question is:

- Saleen kit (on their website) is for '05 and '06, but no '07. I've contacted Jim @ JDM with this (JDM website says 2005-2007), hope to get answer tomorrow.

For Roush, you need to order 2007 application package which runs around $400, but I understand Roush is b*tch to install and harder to tweak... and doesn't look as clean as Saleen, IMO.

I'm sure FRPP/Whipple drops into 2007, but again, Saleen looks so clean comparing to Whipple (and Roush) with TB in front... routing inlet around engine bay is

Then we have KB, same inlet routing (though true cold air under bumber) and too BLING BLING for me. Vortech, Paxton etc. centrifu-kits are out of question.

As I wrote this, I think the only question is Does anyone have Saleen kit installed on 2007, where to get it (JDM I believe), were there problems with the installation? If 2007 kit is not out yet, anyone know when it's going to be out? I need to call Saleen tomorrow. Anything helps. Cheers!

It is different on the '07's but just the external housing / tubing. That's why you have to get an adapter to fit the pre '07 SC kits....KC has these in stock for the Roush SC's.....

The Saleen supercharger kit can definitely be fitted to '07 models. Saleen has a supplemental radiator plumb hardware kit for 2007's that needs to be purchased along with the base supercharger kit. Saleen has already revised their install manual to version "H" to cover 2007 models but they only have version "G" posted on their web site .

If you do call Saleen you might mention that they should get their slack webmaster to upload the latest version of the manual and update the supercharger kit description to show '07 model fitment.

My understanding is that '07 is better with S/C mods than previous... the updated cooling is supposed to be better and the pistons rings on '07 mill are higher? IDK if it's true or not, but '07 motor should be "more capable" for 400+ power. Experts chime in!

Don't know about the '07 but my '05 kicks **** with my saleen kit from JDM. Make sure you get the upgraded fuel pumps, the stocker can only handle so much

From JDM, you need installation kit for 2007. It's priced $299, this includes the cooling piping and brackets for 2007 setup.

When you're firing it up? Whipple is great, but I still prefer Saleen... let's see what I end up with.

Not that you mentioned a centrifugal...but the Vortech and Paxton setups will be different because of the cooling system change as well.
