Supercharger question - 07 GT, TR-3650

I have a bone stock 07 GT w/ the TR-3650 and I am sort of contemplating a blower.
I'm not looking for max power, but I would uhm, like a very noisy supercharger (part of the fun in owning one). However, I'd like to know what kit you'd recommend, and what other parts on the car must be changed to safely handle all of this power.

I run a Saleen Supershaker on my 08. I put down about 435 @ the wheels now. I was around 451 or so, but I scaled it back as I did not trust it without a GT500 fuel system. I run the stock fuel pumps with a bap. As for the drive train, its still stock. I have not had a issue as yet, (charger has been on for about a year and a half) but I do think I will need to upgrade my clutch soonish than later.

Drive ability everything is good so far. But as I said, I do not visit the track as often.

Magnacharger has the best sound but does not make as much power. Saleen, edelbrock or whipple make more power but tend to be a little more silent. I love my saleen and would recomend it. See attached video for sound and ignore the poor track times I am at the 2 minute mark - this was the day after the install and first time at the track with the set up and I also was trying to fix some tune issues.

Have you thought about a Procharger they can make alot of noise and they tend to have the coolest air charge (if you use the intercooler)

Saleen Supershaker FTLN (for the loudest noise). Don't buy a Vortech V2 or V3 as they are super quiet. Every other kit falls in between these.

How about some tight belt tension?

For noise, I was thinking of something like this (go into 1:00): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkiZdcAR6WU

Aren't the Prochargers centrifugal? I've got a turbocharger on my SS/TC, and while the boost sounds sexy (like Fast and Furious), the blower whine is probably more fitting for the GT.

Powerdyne, Procharger,Vortech, Rotrex and Paxton are all centrifugal.

There’s a guy that’s local to me that comes out to the events from time to time, He runs a Whipple with a Steeda belt drive and I believe it sounds pretty close to the car in that video.

Do you think the FRPP Whipple kits are probably the loudest and easiest setup to install? I suppose I will definitely need to upgrade the clutch? What about the rest of the gearbox? I don't plan to drag race/road race this car. It's mainly for daily driving / cruising. I really want that million squirrels into a wood chipper sound.

LOL,

As far as loudness it's all has to do with belt tension. The install is pretty strait forward and the instructions are very detailed for the Whipple. The trans should be ok if you don't plan on beating on it. I would recommend upgrading your rear suspension possibly some upper and LCA and also get your traction squared away if you haven't done this already.
Doesn't make sense to have the power if you can't put it down properly when you need it.
