first off...male or female has is way off topic in this thread. You guys need to pm about the boy/girl thing. I certainly don't want to read through that crap.
Second...it's only cheating if it's against the rules. The only rules that the majority on here are going by are the rules of the road, while others who go to the track regularly, abide by rules of race classes. I just think it's silly that some think it's cheating. I've seen nitrous cars woop up on some blower cars and visa versa.
Relax and listen to why some want superchargers and why some want nitrous. If you really don't have any intention of going either route, it probably would be better for you to start a seperate thread regarding maybe..."who thinks nitrous is cheating."
I tend to believe that this thread was directed towards those who are deciding on either approach or maybe towards those that have used either and can provide valuable input.
Besides, Scothew is on here and if it keeps getting any further off track he'll put on the smack down.

I agree with you, and I will try to remain on topic, but it kills me to see people being real idiots on the forums. My comment had nothing to do with boy/girl sexuality or what not. It was merely something to laugh at. The whole PM thing was a joke. I don't see how MSP would think I'm trying to get some "panties" as he said. It's just ridiculous.

Anyway...I'd still rather take a SC than NOS.

Bro, you don't even drive a mustang. I think you might enjoy this forum better.
http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/direct/vi...gle&model=Talon

Who cares if your buddies eagle talon does 6 secs. I know a mustang that runs 10.0's all day long short shifting to keep from running 9's...N/A. Who cares.
This is turning into a "my daddy can beat up your daddy"

I'll wear a N2O flame suit too..

I don't agree with N2O either..if your car runs 11's on N2O it doesn't mean a thing if have a 13 sec car anytime else... if your car can't make that power all day and night then its lame.

Why don't i just strap a rocket to my roof and run 5 sec... it wasn't that car that did that it was the rocket attached to it.

The reason Pros use it is because their cars whole life is on the drag strip...everytime the car is running its doing that...
You aren't pumping nitrous into your car while you drive to the grocery store...
I use my 05 for mostly racing. On a legal and controled place.I drive my brand new 06 Expedition to go to store or my 93 Lx.I also run 12.7,s on the motor only..............Clown

Hey John, No motor yet. The hurricane took the wind out of everyone's sails. I'm running on a generator right now. I haven't talked to Al lately. A buddy of mine says he's still up and running. Even if I had it now, I couldn't put it back in until I get this house squared away, plus, i'm going to Phoenix next week for 8 days. Hopefully, I'll get a call and it'll be ready when I get back! Can't go wrong with a Boss330 motor!

LOL-babies crying b/c you took their bottle.

My friends Eagle Talon runs a 10.31@135...without N2o.
I know a guy with a Mustang who can run 9's all day long with no nitrous, what's your point? To see who has the fastest friend?

My point is that I would love a s/c cuz it's always on and I'd be able to have some street fun. I'm not that rich, so I'll have to settle for nitrous and only do damage (hopefully not to my car) at the track.

wow this thread really did get out of hand...apparently i've found a TMS hot button issue...never thought baby bottles would get everyone so riled up - it's laughable really.

i have MANY things to comment on but given the strictly enforced PG rating of this site, I'll just bite my tongue.

thank you to those who have been civil and mature about this issue (regardless of if you feel the same way as I do or not) and those that haven't, thanks for continuing typical mustang-owner stereotypes that I've been fighting for years...

anyways, I guess we really should get back on topic.

PS - some of you really need to click on that little button at the bottom of someone's response labeled "PM" - it's this CRAZY new gizmo that let's you talk to someone one on one so that you don't have to drag everyone else through your personal matters.

night night everyone!

I only race the car at the track, so I don't need all the power all the time. Having all the power all the time might tempt me into ILLEGAL street racing. If you streetrace illegally sooner or later you'll pay the consequences for it.
Comon....You're telling me people don't get tempted to street race when they have NOS? I see having NOS as even MORE of a temptation to race others...and see how you can stack up against them. Heck, I've had so many civics and a few 300ZX's race me on the freeway and open up on NOS.
