Supercharger Care

Hey Gang,

Wondering what you all do as far as maintence is concerend with your superchargers? Particularly Whipples, but I'd like know in general for all that you have.

Saleen comes with oil that is supposedly good for a long time, something like 50k miles. Would imagine the whipple is something similar.

Art Whipple told me to change the oil at 100k miles with their oil. I'd probably do it at 25k anyway. I just feel better about 25k miles, but it's probably not necessary.

I clean the filter and wipe it down everyone once and a while. I also put a towel over it during the winter so it soaks up any condensation that might accumulate (i also put a note on the steering wheel that reminds me to remove the towel before i start the car)

Did you get a chance to take pictures of the area where CJ's tapped into your fuel crossover line for your gauge? I'm about ready to hook mine up but I wanted to make sure I am doing it right.

Not yet... Been busy haven't been able to get nex to the car. I might get it later on during the week.

I was told with the Saleen just change the oil at 75K.
