Quick question for those out there who have a brace installed.

How much clearance is there between the hood and the center of the brace?
I know it may be difficult to gauge unless you shrink small and sit in the hood and see for yourself, but I have a plaque I want to mount in the engine bay and would look killer on a brace.

Some people use clay for a gauge or some other soft material that stays in the state you compress it into.
One of the reasons I chose the GMS double was because it sits lower than some of the others. It hardly even makes an impression in the liner and the liner sags somewhat.

I had a strut tower brace on my car almost from the day I bought it. I recently put a shaker hood system on my car so bye bye to the STB. I haven't really noticed any difference since removing it but I do have other suspension mods.

Hmmm...well this is what I want to attach.

It's about 1/2 inch thick at the most. It's metal and hoped to weld it on.
