Storing my Mustang...
Clearly this is not a performance question, and I sincerely apologize, but I didn't know where else to post.
I have never had a car that I've stored for the winter, like I will be doing with my Mustang. My question is, what needs to be done to properly store it through the winter?
Thanks for any and all help.

I stored my 96 Mystic Cobra before leaving for Afghanistan and all I did was;
1.) top off all the fluids
2.) get Stabil fuel stabilizer to keep the gas good
3.) disconnected the battery
4.) threw a cover over it in the garage
5.) left for the Stan
If you do a search on www.svtperformance.com there are a few threads in the same subject.
As for my 05, I just left it in the driveway for my brother to drive, ON OCASSION
Enjoy

I have a related question:
What length of time determines the need to enter "storage" and therefore the need to perform the requisite storage actions, or just leave it as it sits and drive when the time period is over? (Assume during winter in the midwest.)
2 weeks; 1, 2, 3 months, etc.?
