This should be interesting! Are you satisfied with the stock Performance of your 05 Gt? Or would you Modify it! I am talking Strictly POWERTRAIN not Cosmetic! What are you REALISTICALLY going to spend on MODS. to make your Stang Faster! This is not what you Want to Spend but what are Really going to spend within 1 year of Purchase of your 05 stang GT! Also what Mods Have you done and what Mods are you Going to do! STRICTLY POWERTRAIN!

I will most likely go with the WhippleCharger and a Reprogrammer and call it Quits as far as Powertrain! It's the biggest bang for the buck for me! Supercharging has served me well on my Harley Truck! I will keep an eye on ALL Supercharging Options Roush,Saleen,Vortech,Paxton etc. and see whats seems to work the best!

Well, between rear end, pulleys, xpipe, mufflers, intake, tune, and all the install costs associated with those, I've already got over 2 g's into mine on performance alone..I voted the 5,000 mark, as the supercharger will push me to at least that number.....but oh how fun it is!!! HAHA

Yes, I too am looking at a supercharger. With the way I am obsessed with this car I will be one of many that has a $40,000.00 '05 Mustang that will probably only be worth about $25,000.00 by the end of the first two years of ownership!

I figured at least $7,500. Definitely A supercharger, Whipple or Roush not sure which one yet. There's a good 5k right there. Then a little NOS in there to keep thing's interesting, about $600. Computer programing and countless dyno runs, at least 1k. The brakes and suspension are going to have to be up-graded to handle 500+ HP! I've already spent $1700, it dosent take long to add up! New favorite saying: "This is going to get expensive"

Don't worry Derek you won't have the only $40,000/$25,000 GT floating around!

5-10K more than likely.
First purchase will be forced induction I am not going to bother even doing bolt ons until I decide what kit is best for me. The car will stay stock until then. Buy everything at once throw it all on and it will be like driving a brand new car again B)

I have plans on adding a Shaker, underdrive pulleys, at some point swapping the transmission, a tune, upgrading the suspension(will make it faster through the turns). I have no idea when I am going to get to these but things I would like to do. I am not a fan of a supercharged engine, so that's one mod that I definitely won't be doing.

I'm actually really happy with the performance of the car stock. Sure there are a ton of things I'd like to buy but I think I'm just going to wait and see how I feel 6 months or more down the road.

I'm such a tight wad with money, I want to make sure what I do buy is well worth it and something I won't replace in a few months.

I'm sorta tempted to lower it with the eibach pro series but I'm worried I'll need to buy an adjustable panhard rod, then will need some new braces, then new rims/tires, then some hp mods to justify the bigger wheels then inetrior pieces to match ect ect ect.

I know how adictive and expensive it gets, so just going to wait and see.

I'll probably spend in the neighborhood of $2K - $3K on the drivetrain...am currently looking at the CAI + Xcalibrator + Tune and then see if the underdrive pully's are really adding anything after that.......although I must admit forced air induction is really beginning to tempt me....just don't know if I want to be dealing with all the related issues of adding a supercharger - then suspension to handle extra power, etc.
