Here are the incremental times from the 11.75 pass. As you can see by the sixty foot times the turbos come up on boost about 80 feet out of the hole. Converter is on it's way as we speak (type?).

60'..............2.134
330'............5.274
660'............7.768 @ 98.36 mph
1000'...........9.928
1320'...........11.753 @ 123.58 mph

Spoke briefly with the sales manager this morning. Looks like the cost of the turbos is going to be the main reason for the price being higher than everyone else's twin setup. Please keep in mind that these are not run-of-the-mill Mitsubishi turbos either. These are Garrett GT2871R dual ball bearing turbos. They will support just about anything you put in front of them and will deliver enough boost for over 850 horsepower if you've got enough engine. Price will be more than $8K but less than $9K. I know that's a big range but he's trying to get it down to where it's reasonable. Should know more next week. He also is going to get some pics up on the site for you guys.

Install price should not be very high at all. Everything bolts onto the car. There is no cutting or hacking or modifying. Very easy install so shop labor won't be much at all. Typically, one day should be enough for the install. Say....eight to ten hours shop time including the dyno time.

I did too but when I saw the price of the turbos I knew it wasn't going to happen. Still...it's a great kit and the install can be done at home in the garage. If you've got an ordinary set of tools, a floor jack, and two jackstands you can install this kit yourself. Plus, you can instantly run 11's.

sounds like a great kit. when you took it to the track, how did you leave the line? at idle? just wondering since you said the turbos didn't spool up until 80 feet out.

First pass was leaving at 1200 rpm. The next three runs on the car were leaving at 1800 rpm. Some of the problem is in the initial tune with very little timing down low. We have been discussing it quite a bit over the weekend and the concensus is that with more tuning time we can pretty much eliminate the problem without having to resort to an aftermarket converter.
