Anyone have the new Steeda Triax Shifter installed yet? How is it? And how much did you spend? JBA is offering it to me for $220, is this a good deal or are there better deals out there? Or should I just go with a Hurst Shifter or something else?

It is a great shifter, it is more intensive than the previous years shifters; however, it can be completed in about 1 hour or less if you have some simple tools and a jack. Great price though, I paid $245.00. Don't forget to lubricate the brass bushings that go into the lower end of the shift lever. This step will save you from having to do it later when the shifter becomes difficult to maneuver into lateral gears. Use marine grade bearing grease, it won't wash away when water splashes onto it.
