After installing the Tri-ax shifter I was excited with the feel of the transmission similar to my Pro 5.0 I had in an 02 GT. What I later found out is that if you do not lubricate the bushings that attach the Tri-ax to the factory shift arm then your shifter will become tight, it will squeak while driving, and it will be difficult to maneuver the lever into the lateral most gears. A marine bearing grade or lithium white grease works great and eliminates all of these problems.

It would be nice to include a small tube as a customer service.

Good information to know.

I have always thought the Tri-ax was very noisy and never like it as much as the Pro 5.0. I am really hoping to find someone with the MGW so I have a comparison.
