You are correct; Brembo and Ford technically engineered the braking system. Multimatic track tested the FR500C in conjuction with Ford Racing on various tracks and came up with the combo. Both of them could have easily adapted a BBK(using Brembo, Stoptech, or AP calipers) to the rears in a matter of hours. I don't think it was a matter of not having the parts since it's just a matter of making brakets honestly, rather the parts were not needed. Your rear kit is very economically priced and looks very well engineered, I will give you that.

Gus are you referring to the front or rear kit? Several of us on this board are under the impression (I believe rightfully so) that the Steeda 14" Front Kit is built by Stop-Tech.

I am also under the impression that the Steeda kit uses Stoptech 4 piston calipers. Gus can you clear this up?

Haha I dont think he wants to confirm the $200 premium you pay for having your stoptech brakes say Steeda on them

The Steeda 14 inch brake kit has a Steeda specified caliper. We outsource the kit as naturally we do not manufacture these kind of components in house. Our manufacturing facility manufactures steel and aluminum suspension components such as control arms and such. However I am not allowed to discuss who we outsource our specifications to.

Yes, I did edit the post as in retrospect my response was a bit out of line.... Sorry about that.
