This kit will work well with any larger front brake kit. Some better than others. Our Steeda kit was specifically designed with piston sizing designed to have the best compatibility with the factory ABS system. If you already have the Stoptech system on your car this kit will be a great addition.

Brake kits like ours that relocate the caliper do require you do remove the axles in order to remove the factory caliper mounting bracket and replace it with the new relocation bracket.

Brembo also has a 2 piece rotor, 4 piston caliper kit but it is considerably more expensive than our kit and is not matched as well to the factory ABS system as ours is.

This is basically a cosmetic mod. Look at the FR500C and GT500 and notice what setup they are running in the rears.....The stock calipers/rotors with upgraded pads. Multimatic did a ton of track testing/r&d and of course Ford Racing obviously raced the cars in Grand Am Cup. Now the front brakes are a different story.

No its not. We have test data co-engineered with Ford that shows otherwise. Plus we began research into rear brake set-ups long before the release of this kit on 99-04 cars. We have years or R&D into this, plus a funny story that shows the difference quite well.
During some drag testing on one of our development cars, before the brakes it was not too difficult to hold the car with the front brakes and do a quick burnout to heat the rear tires. The first time we went to do the same thing after the rear brakes were installed, the rear tires locked much harder and it caused the clutch to slip and barely moved the tires.
On track testing has also shown better braking control and balance, particularly when matched to our own 14 inch front kit. Although improvements were found with Baer's set up as well.
We also previously tested prototype 13 inch set ups that we never released for 99-04 cars. We were doing this testing over 4 years ago. On these cars which had even less rear brake effectiveness from the factory there was a noticeable decrease in nosedive due to the rear brakes taking on more of the load of stopping the vehicle.

If Gus has some test data that he would be willing to share, I'd love to see it.

No argument, discussion is always good. Multimatic didn't develop any brake upgrades technically. They used someone else's product for the front (Brembo) and used the stock rear with better pads. Naturally cause until now, no one else had anything. Understandable since they developed that car close to 2 years ago. They did a great job with what they had.
