Steeda Delete Plates or FRPP manifold

I am sure this has been asked before but I use the iPhone app and searching is a PITA so here goes.

I am looking at either a set of the Steeda Delete plates or an FRPP Intake Manifold. I know not to expect a huge difference either way but I'm looking for opinions from owners of both. Are either of these a worthwhile investment? I am looking at a used manifold but will still be over $500. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

I can offer a link for some feedback from users. They are definitely and improvement and you will gain some HP at an affordable cost.

I would go with the Steeda CMDPs unless you plan on some other major upgrades, like full H/C/I/E.

Both are fairly easy DIY upgrades. Remember both will require a new tune.

Thanks for the input guys. It looks like 'Bang for the buck' goes to the delete plates. I guess the only advantage to the FRPP manifold is that it looks good under the hood.

Do the delete plates add any height to the manifold? Will I not be able to use my Ford Racing strut bar?

No, they wont add any height. They are exactly the same as the factory plates. If you are interested I am planning on selling my FRPP manifold. Not sure how much it would be to shi, but it is complete!

Hmmm very tempting. Why are you selling it?

I decided against keeping the Cervinis B9 hood scoop. The Shaker will complete my retro look (whenever the makeover starts that is!)

I purchased the Steeda plates and they should be here Thursday. I already purchased the tune and can't wait to get them installed.
