I know this may sound a little odd and it may just be a coincidence. I recently installed Steeda Charge Motion Delete Plates and installed a custom tune made by DiabloSport for the charge motion delete plates. Vehicle performs fine. However, after about 100 miles the ABS light came on. Has anyone ever heard of this before? As I said - could be coincidence. Please if you have any factual information share it with me but if you don't know for sure - don't speculate.

As always thanks in advance for any help.

Why don't you take it to the dealer and have them fix your ABS instead of asking for advice from a lot of speculating forum members?

My ABS light comes on, I'm going to the dealer.

It's at the dealer now - has been for 4 days. Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this problem or could confirm the two issues are or are not related.

I hear ya. Well, with that Diablo tune in it, anything's possible!

What are you trying to say here? Please clarify your statement.

I personally have had excellent results with Predator Tunes and their product support has been outstanding.

Since I have not been flooded with responses either my case is an isolated incident that no others have experienced (which is good) or no one is sure if the charge motion plates work in conjuction with the ABS system.

Does anyone know for sure?

Not that I am aware of, they should be two totally isolated systems. If some how vacuum is related between these systems, and you are some how losing vacuum thru install or something(gaskets), would be the only thing I could think of that might change a spec to one of the systems. This coming from an ex mechanic. But by no means has dove into modifying under the hood yet. But looks like you've been fairly busy doing some mods. Good luck, I would probably just take to the dealer.

Vehicle has been at the dealer for several days. They have replaced 1 wheel speed sensor without correcting the problem. Now they have ordered an ABS module. Here's my concern: I feel it is only a matter of time before they blame the mods for this issue even if the mods are not the root cause of the problem. The new ABS module should be in tomorrow. We will see if that resolves the ABS light issue.

Of all the mods that have been performed, none have resulted in an ABS light issue that I am aware of. I was hoping others with charge motion delete plates would chime in even if nothing more than to say they have or have not had an ABS issue after installing the plates and tune.

No issues with ABS here. Just the self revving when the engine is first started, which I find bizarre.

I know this may sound really dumb, but did you look in your manual to read what it says about the ABS light coming on? Just thinking of the simple stuff first. I wouldn't count on some of these dealerships looking at the simple stuff first. Just a thought.

Well the ABS module was not the problem. Spoke to Scott at DiabloSport and he seems very confident it is not the tune. Most likely a short in the wiring harness.
