The Steedas seem to be priced the lowest as far as I can tell. John Bleakely Ford's site doesn't seem to indicate they have the 5GTs for $395 shipped.

I just wanted to jot down which places sell the 5GT/Stingers at the lowest prices in case I want to give them a try. In the meantime I'm kind of fond of the stock mufflers.

 

I got mine from bleakley for $395. That was almost a year ago though. I was looking at how similar the steeda muffler and the stingers look. They look the same.

 

Yes your correct ? the Steeda axle backs, FRPP 5GT and Borla stingers are all manufactured by Borla..

 

What about the SLP Powerflos...I thought they were the same design too?

 

Although the SLP Powerflows may have similar design ? their not manufactured by Borla

 

i guess it boils down to basically what type of tips you want... and of course, price.

the only reason i can see paying more and getting the borlas is if you want that million mile warranty.

 

We just got a 427R and it came with Roush-branded axle-backs that look just like the Borlas as well. Anyone have any info on this?

 

I'm pretty sure that the "regular" Roush cars use Magnaflow Magnapack mufflers......
