Steeda axle-back
Steeda axle-back for the 05 Mustang GT. Nice pic. Can't wait for a sound clip!
They ceratianly LOOK better than the Magnaflows. Especially the tips!
Now just waiting to see how they sound.
I hope the price goes down soon.
$430 for 2 mufflers, 2 tips, and very short pipes is a lot.

Borla still Steeda's muffler manufacturer?
If so, those could be the new 'stinger style' made for Steeda.
Nice, small, and tucked away....with some great big mirror polished/chrome tips

I love them, i'm not sure what to do though. Whether to get those and get custom pipes made to go from the X-Pipe to the Steeda's, or how they would sound or if another company is going to come out with a more hidden exhaust. So if this is Borla's, does this mean we might expect Borla's cat-back to be this? If that's the case then i'll just wait for the Borla and then I won't have to get custom pipes made.
I like the looks of the tailpipes on the Magnaflows better. I did order the Steeda mufflers but then cancelled my order. I did some research and found that the steeda mufflers are going to be too loud for me. I drive 20 miles to and from work on a daily basis and the drone noise would drive me insane after a while. I do like how the mufflers are really tucked up so you don't see them from behind the car.
I definitely like the Magnaflows better. Two words... ROLLED TIPS. That's all I gotta say. The Steeda tips look just like stock, except a little bigger. And I also didn't want anything too loud. The Magnaflows have a real nice deep sound, and just a little louder than stock. When you get your kit and install it, adrenalin, post some pics and let me know what you think. And by the way... I was also a big fan of tucking the mufflers away and not being able to see them. I originally was one of the ones who wanted to just paint them flat black. But after putting the Magnaflows on, they are an inch or so thinner so you don't see them nearly as well... plus what you see is mirrored stainless steel, and looks pretty good.

Fingernail....and a hairdryer if need be. Should not hurt the car.

Dan... how's the best way to do that? What would I record it with? I don't think my digital camera can record sound.

Any chance of getting a sound clip? I know there's one on magnaflow's site.

Don't worry about it if you don't have a digital camera or digital camcorder. I think you can hook up a mic to a laptop and use the sound recorder, but the magnaflow sound clip on their site gives a good idea.
If you're still interested, I'm sure someone on here has more tips on recorded the exhaust note.
They don't manufactur the frpp stingers or the roush offroad exhaust option axleback either do they? At least they have a reason to state why the frpp stingers tips are so cheap. They're not our. Their fords. Just like all other low *** quality ford stuff. I'm stupid for spendind so much money on just a set of axlebacks.

however ! Borla has confirmed, they do indeed manufacture the FRPP stingers for Ford Racing.
