Steeda aluminum driveshaft.

Does anyone have one or know of one being used? I was just wondering if they worked well, I see most people using the spydershaft one, is that due to price, or better performance compared to the Steeda?
Thanks.

All aluminum driveshaft are pretty much the same. You can't go wrong with any of the DS vendors. I think most people choose non-steeda because of price.

I've got a Shaftmasters DS that I'm very pleased with.

I purchased the spydershaft because of the price, but I promise you the quality is second to none. Same goes for the service.

The "Steeda shaft" or the one they sell on their site is from "Findanza".

Sorry Leo but that is incorrect. The Findanza shaft uses a adpater plate like most others and the Steeda/Spydershaft use the new pinion flange.

Hmm...Interesting. It's been a while since I checked the Steeda site. I see what your talking about now. So then why does Steeda add $200 if it's the same one Sypder sells?

+1 Don't forget they have to pay for all that advertising too. Remember when they had delete plates for $300 and then FRPP came out with some for $100?

To understand your statement better I was wondering if you have personally tested and examined each and everyone of the aftermarket aluminum shafts offered.

Steeda will have you grab your ankles on every sale. The Spyderhafts are a great product. I haven't heard one complaint.

I've a Spydershaft on my 07 Mustang GT Saleen SC'ed Cal. Spec. and if You sale Tom281 one of yours we can compare. As Tom and me get together several times a year to examine each others car.

Darrell, are you saying if I bought a Shaftmaster's driveshaft, that you'd want to get together this spring and compare our two shafts?

Uh, not sure I feel quite comfortable with that.

I am wondering if an aluminum driveshaft and a tune (leaning towards the SCT tuners)
would be good first mods for my car (07 GT ragtop). Opinions anyone?

it's his opinion.... and this thread was about STEEDA's driveshafts anyway which by the way I think are very nice.
