Doug does NOT turn on the rear 02 sensors, unless the customer requests otherwise! His reason, most of his customers that run his tunes, also run off road mid-pipes, or LT headers... In addition, I was also informed by Doug that his program tunes are focused on performance and improved drivability and were not designed for meeting federal emission requirements... Therefore, for those who are concerned about emissions testing, need to contact Doug and request to have their rear 02 sensors, turned back on...

Chris! unless otherwise requested, Doug automatically has the rear 02 sensors turned off on all his program tunes...

Steeda works directly with Ford (technology sharing program) and their products are available through Ford dealers. Steeda products are CARB certified, even their delete plates. Aftermarket tuners have so far gotten away with ignoring emissions issues for the most part, but one must wonder how long this situation will continue.

I said OBDII wasn't around PRIOR to '96, thus the cut-off for OBDII testing not applying to cars prior to '96 in PA. ALL cars model year '96 on have OBDII.

Sorry, but the only reason I mentioned it was my dad took the car to Autozone because their ad said they would read codes for free.
They looked at him and said, "It's too old, it don't have OBDII".
He told me and I had him come over and hooked up my SCT and told him he had a misfire on plug #5. He had just put in new plugs, so changing the wires fixed it.
By the way, my dad is 85 and still likes to fix his own car.
