i've sold more axle-backs on here and e-bay than i care to recall...... $2655 worth. the orignal price for all i had., i'll never buy another axle-back. here's some sound advice, keep your stockers. the mid-pipe is the place to start, H or X then cats or not, then shortys or longtubes, please don't do what i did.

I probably couldn't disagree with Wallace more...
My advice on avoiding spending unecessary of money on stuff you don't like is to wait until you hear something that you like in person. Be patient! Go to shows, cruises, local car club meets, etc. and find something YOU like, then pull the trigger. The stockers just don't cut it..

I had Stingers for a long time and I only recently swtiched to the Pypes MM system, and I can see Pros and Cons about both systems- but the winning factor for me is that the PMM just sounds absolutely wicked at WOT.

I haven't heard Spintech in person, but judging from the Clips- I am not a big fan. I would go for Mac if you are looking at a chambered muffler. .02

We had a Mustang here at our dealership that we put Spintech's on. They are extremely loud, to loud for my taste. They provide more of a deep race car sound than a classic muscle sound.

actually made a post about it almost a year and a half ago, somehow it got deleted, I guess from the whole change over of the new server on TMS.

cheese302 has them on his car, I assisted him in the install of the spintechs. we also did a video of the sounds. they are pretty loud. I'd PM him for his personal experience since he drive around all day with them

here is the video we made:

Thanks guys,
Wallace, my first thought was LT's, catted mid and stock mufflers.
However a friend of mine got a Lambo Murcielago(sp?) and granted a Mustang would never sound that good, I was looking for some instant gratification....
