looks like the options are limited, ford put a patent on the plug design, spoke with NGK, Champion, Bosch, AC, and Autolite today
as for now you have 2 choices
Motorcraft, about $19 a plug
Autolite about $11 a plug
the autolite part number is HT1
there is another part number not out yet HT0, its still a plat plug, but 1 step colder heat range than the HT1
just thought i would pass this along
NGK flat out said they would not be building any plugs for the car. :notnice:

Good to know, thank's for the research. I was hoping to be able to pick up some Bosch.... :bang: Guess not. I seen in one of the mags that there is a jig that will allow you to adjust the gap.

Since 99 the 4.6 in Mustangs has not used plug wires, becasue they use a coil on plug ignition.
Look at your engine, you won't see any plug wires. The last time plug wires were used on the 4.6 were from 96-98 when they used individual coil packs mounted in front of the valve covers.

don't gap them down more then 10 or 12 thou.... the car will throw a code. It monitors the coil packs very closely.
