So what's the latest tally, how many blown up 3V motors here?

Just curious. I haven't posted here in a while. My ProCharged '05 is still running strong with no problems so far, but I know at least two guys on here have popped their motors with some form of power adder, one being a ProCharger. So that made me wonder, have there been any other casualties lately? If so, what kind of power were you making right before the motor went on you?

I'm right around 445-450rwhp right now and have been considering going back to my tuner to have it de-tuned a bit (420-430 range) just so I can have some fun with it without worrying that I'm going to blow the motor at any second.

How are your cars handling all the added power? I see some of you with 460rwhp+ and I'm wondering if there's been some development saying that our motors can indeed handle more than we originally thought.

Any info would be great.

Kris

Not sure about here at TMS, but I think the total is up around 10 or 12 that I know of.

Various reasons and various power levels. Nothing really common among them, except weak rods.
