All the more reasons to drop a 6-spd in there.
If you look at the gear ratios in the T-56 compaired to the 5 speed, they are the same... it's just an additional overdrive. You'd have to find a builder that has changed out the gears to make them closer ratios....
on another point, that's why top speeds are only rated in 4th gear.
5 and 6 (if you got it) are overdrives....

A six speed probably won't help much unless you significantly boost the horsepower of the engine. It will take more energy to spin the extra mass of the 6 speed so more than likely you will loose power.
