I get a good puff of smoke at initial startup. It's probably just some "Leakdown" from sitting.....No smoke after car has been warmed up. I've got about 1700 miles on her. Any one else?

I noticed that if I start it up ( no smoke on initial start ), back it out of the garage and shut it off cold without letting it run for a few minutes to warm up, that on the re-start, ( say within 10 minutes or less ), it will put out some blue-ish smoke. It never does it after the engine reaches operating temperature. This follows the same pattern as my F-150's I have had, which also did the same thing. Just my observation of what I have experienced.

Blue smoke.....Thanks Jack. Probably normal, I'm going to keep an eye on it.

That happened to me yesterday. I pulled forward in my driveway and shut her off. Washed the car, then backed her to the original spot. The second start-up gave me that smoke-puff.

I've had this happened to me also, say three or four times. Not quite sure of the circumstances that lead up to it other than the car is cold and I might of had my foot on the gas pedal while turning her over. (bad habbit caused from my 72 Impala).

Keep an eye on it I guess. Glad to see I'm not alone.

BTW, I posted a thread on this also about one to two months back.
