It shouldnt be a performance anything, this car mufflers only change sound. If you're proud about gaining 1 hp you've got issues

Probably lack of back pressure. Ever since I put my o/r pipe on, I noticed I lost some low end torque. Thats probably what your getting now with no mufflers.

From my motorcycle background...

Less backpressure can mean less low end torque, but more horsepower. Does it feel any different at upper RPMs or is the loss just down low?

Keep in mind the car will relearn itself from a sudden change as in the exhaust and all.

I installed an O/R X-Pipe and a set of Ford Racing Performance Mufflers....and lost all my Bottom End too.....even with Bama Tunes....I could not squeal a Tire off the Light anymore to save my Soul...it has got to do with loss of Back Pressure.....I give??

1. Yes you lost some low end torq. That is what you feel. It is due to less backpressure.
2. You HP did not change by a measurable amount really
3. Changing ABs is not a sudden change and the computer could care less what you have done!
4. Changing the midpipe to a o/r x or h will do the same, so running o/r pipe with loudmouths will be extremely loud and maybe not in a good way and you will feel even a bigger loss in torq

I felt it for sure...the bama tune helped alot when i loaded it back up, but i know it was there....and then the 410s came and you would never feel it....but i would love to see what the car would feel like without the loss.

I'm temptedd to cut my Factory Catted H-Pipe and and cut the Pypes X-Pipe down and fit the two together....that way I get the back pressure back....and get the performance part of the X-Pipe back.....think it will work?????
