Wheels that don't take 6 months to get. Atleast, I hope they don't take as long as George's.
To answer your question...I'm going with the Bogart's as George is, but they are up there with price. I think I paid like $1400 for the set with the 2 front tires and lugs. The rear slicks, 28" ET Drag's are going to be about $200-225 each. I don't know what will give you better hook than that. You have to take into account that this setup is not ideal or even possible to drive on daily!

David, have you seen any decent 15" wheels besides the Bogart's?

Don-no, I've been waiting and looking for a light-weight set of wheels and it so happens that Bogart makes them in 15". I haven't heard of any other manuf. having any yet. As I understand it, they have a weird offset and there is a small piece of non-functional metal that has to be cut off of the axle housing. I didn't know about the cutting before I ordered them. Of course, the other day, I called and the cutting subject came up. He told me to just have a sawzall ready when I fit the tires. He sortof described it as a hook. I just hope it's not the same hook I use when I trailer the car.
To answer your question Mike, the cheapest route you'll find with M/T is about $200 a tire and $115 or so for 17x9 bullitts from MRT. I'd sell you mine, but someone's already asked to buy them from me at my local track. I'll let you know if it falls through though.
