Guys i cant understand how no one else has this problem. At Idle or when i come to a stop, the exhaust comes in the windows. If I drive with A/C on obviously it does not.Smells like an old carberated musclecar that is not tuned properly.Like it is way rich or something.Never have had a CEL come on at all since new and after mods. You cant adjust fuel at Idle so I am taking it off.I am going to miss the sound but I cant have a brand new car that the exhaust will burn your eyes out if you stand behind it or sit in it running. My wife hates it and wont let our infant son ride in the car because of it.

He's talking about his off road X pipe, and I like the smell of dirty exhaust fumes, takes me back to the drag strip, where most of the cars run sans cats.
I noticed this on my cousins 02 GT when we installed his Prochamber, we were both like "ahh the true smell of exhaust."

Either mine's worked itself out or I'm used to it now, but I don't notice this at all. At first yes I noticed it, but I haven't even thought of it for a month or two now.
I'm running the Alt Auto x-cal II tune with it now, previously was running a diablow tune.

You guys are wimps or maybe I drive around with the A/C on a lot. My clothes never smell, nor my hair. I do smell exhaust if the windows are open and I am idling for a while.

Hey Max..... did you have to make adjustments to the C&L tune to account for the off road x-pipe or does it all work out.

Does this problem only come up with an off road x-pipe?
I am about ready to get the Bassani X-pipe with high flow cats.....

This is not a problem with the Bassani X-Pipe with the comp cats. I ran the off-road legs for a couple of days and could not stand the noise and smell. I installed the comp-cats and it was all good. No smell and loud but not to loud noise levels.

You might have the pipes welded. This fixed my issues. Also, you might want to get it tuned ... sould like it needs it.

Yeah, I had my comp-cats welded in. This may have made a difference too.
Hey Bryan, hows the charger. Have you had it tuned yet? We need some numbers. Sorry if it's already been asked.

I am going today to get tuner / dynoed for the 8# pulley. I will post some numbers later this evening. I am expecting 420rwhp or so. When the 9-10# pulley comes in (2 weeks per ATI) I will go back and get dual tunes in the XCal

My car put down 436rwhp in New Hampshire and 390rwhp here in the AZ heat (different dyno's of course). Non-intercooled, 9psi. Oh, and that was through the "wimpy" hi-flow cats!

You just have the Paxton kit running 9 lbs? If you don't mind, how much did you pay for the kit?
